Local pop-punk/rock band BUSEKRUS (pronounced Boo-zee-cruise) will perform favorites from their upcoming album, Boombox Starship, to be officially released at The Crossroads at Hawaiian Brian’s on April 11.

OIL IN THE ALLEY plays improvised rock’n’roll. In a tuneful, original music way. An awesomely beat-heavy hook-happy bighaired way. It’s never the same twice, but it’s always a smash selection of the greatest hits from their heyday in the late 80s/early 90s. (with Big Hair design by LISA PONCE DE LEON and Lighting by JAY POLK)

You’ll also note a touch of artistry coming from our ARTIST-IN-ROCKIN’-RESIDENCE, Michelle Jericho Poppler of Michy Moody Productions. Michelle will be stageside doing realtime art work in response to the show (artwork will be available for purchase after the performance).

Holding it all together will be the classiest, the sassiest Mistress of Ceremonies – none other than Shannon Winpenny. THAT Shannon Winpenny? Yes, that’s the one.
