Improv Skills Class: Character
May 12, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 9:45 pm$10
“It’s about personal development. It’s about creating your own character and pushing it to the limit. It’s about pushing yourself so far out of your own and everybody else’s idea of who you are and what you’re capable of, that you no longer believe in limits.”” – Charlotte Eriksson
Strong, fully-realized characters with a purpose are the foundation of any scene in any performance. Commitment to your on-stage persona is a crucial tool for managing your audience’s perception of you. Unscripted Theater classes are every Tuesday and open to everyone regardless of performance experience.
Drop-In Class focus throughout May is building dynamic characters using a variety of skills. Topics include: development of your ‘other’ self, commitment, physicality and emotion.
