2 Day Characters Workshop

This workshop will give you tools and exercises to develop dynamic new characters over two consecutive days. This will be a fun and easy environment in which to explore physicality, voice, emotion and other fundamentals of character building. The first day will expand the breadth of your characterization skills and the second day will focus on applying those skills to scenework. Discover, hone, apply. Let’s have fun!

Class length: 2 hours a class (4 hours of total instruction)
Prerequisite: No Experience Needed
Max class size: 10

About The Instructor:

Jiavani Linayao is a performer and teacher based in Los Angeles. She appeared in the Netflix film Between Two Ferns: The Movie, has voiced characters for Cartoon Network, and performs musical and hip-hop improv internationally with touring companies Baby Wants Candy and Shamilton. She has taught improv, freestyle rap and musical improv in Iceland, Australia, Scotland, New York and throughout California.
