Mike Brown’s Solo Improv Workshop: Playing with Yourself

Mike Brown of Peoples Improv Theater (NYC) returns to teach Playing With Yourself: Solo Improv. Teaching how to discover, and manage, your multiple characters, creating and using your environment to enhance a scene, and solo performance.

About Mike Brown:
Mike Brown studied at The Peoples Improv Theater and The Magnet Theater in New York, and has taught improv at The University of Oxford, The University of California at Berkeley, John Jay College, and guest lectured at The Living Room Lecture Series at Lincoln Square. Mike currently coaches 10,000 hours practice sessions, a privately opererated improv coaching program associated closely with the Peoples Improv Theater, and teaches improv classes/workshops through “Howdy Stranger”.

He has appeared on Gossip Girl, Law & Order, Cupid, and Mercy, and has performed domestically in Improvaganza: The Hawaii Festival of Improv, The Boston Comedy Arts Festival, The Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival, Unscripted New York, The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, The Del Close Marathon, and the NYC Improv Festival, and internationally at The Toronto Improv Festival, The Bush Live Theater in London, and The Merlin Theater in Budapest, Hungary.
