Improv Hawaii Student Jam

Other than our Student Showcases and Monthly Shows, there isn’t a lot of Improvised Jamming going on right now. We know you’re craving that kind of free flowing interaction, and that so many of you are coming up with creative, new forms, with nowhere to perform them.

We want to give you a chance to showcase your stuff, or just play around and see what works.

You can join us every 2nd Friday of the month for an awesome jam session. Everyone who signs up will get at least 15 minutes of play time within a small group, as well as the chance to laugh and learn while watching others during their block. As with all classes, Student Jams are fully masked.

All participants should review the improvhi house rules before starting their classes.

All participants must fill out a Covid Survey before each class.

All participants must follow Covid precautions distributed electronically before class.All participants must be fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus.* Participants must show their vaccination card to the instructor at the door if they do not already have one on file with Improv Hawaii. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this new world and do our best to keep our family of students and teachers safe and healthy. 

*Acceptable vaccinations are Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson. Fully vaccinated means two weeks have passed since the final shot was administered. For Moderna and Pfizer, this means two weeks past the second shot. For Johnson & Johnson, this means two weeks past the first (only) shot.
