Voice of Reason (Course) – 9/15/2026-10/6/2026

September 15 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
In improv, the biggest laugh doesn’t always go to the wildest choice. Sometimes it goes to the person who looks directly at the chaos and says, “…okay, but why is there a goat?”
Voice of Reason Course is a four-week course that gives you the time and space to really settle into the art of staying grounded. Over four sessions you’ll build the muscle memory, awareness, and timing it takes to confidently anchor a scene while everything around you gets delightfully weird.
You’ll learn how to label the unusual, name what’s happening, and support your scene partner’s big swings by being the rock they bounce off of. And you’ll get to practice it enough that it actually sticks in your body, not just your brain.
Going big gets a lot of attention in improv. But knowing when to stay grounded? That’s the move that makes the whole scene work.
