NEW CLASS! Voice of Reason Workshop – 5/18/2026

May 18 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
In improv, the biggest laugh doesn’t always go to the wildest choice. Sometimes it goes to the person who looks directly at the chaos and says, “…okay, but why is there a goat?”
Voice of Reason is a workshop about the power of staying grounded when everything around you gets weird. You’ll learn how to confidently label the unusual, name what’s happening in a scene, and support your scene partner’s big swings by being the rock they bounce off of. This is the art of the anchor, and it takes just as much skill, awareness, and timing as going big.
Prerequisite:
Long-form improv experience recommended
Entrance:
The entrance is on South Street between Auahi and Pohukaina. Walk down small steps and follow the hallway to the left. Wheelchair-accessible entrance off of Pohukaina St.
