Sketch Comedy Writing 301 (must have completed SCW 201)

Students in this class will work together to write an original 30 minute sketch show. Students will be held to weekly deadlines in order to generate material to be featured in the show. This level is student-driven and therefore the curriculum may vary in order to best serve a particular group of creatives.
Students will be expected to devote time to writing and rewriting material outside of class.
Class length: Four 2 hour classes = 8 hours of instruction
Prerequisite: Must have completed Sketch Comedy Writing 201 with Improv Hawaii or approved program
Max class size: 6

4 Wednesdays – 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12

About The Instructor:
Chris Renfro is a writer and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles, CA*. He produces and co-hosts Gaysian AF as part of the hit variety show, Asian AF. Chris is also house team performer at The Second City Hollywood and an alumni of the CBS Diversity Sketch Showcase.
