DESCRIPTION:Play4Life is thrilled to announce our very first course\, Easy as PAI: Play Act Improvise\, begins Monday\, January 21. The 8-week course will be held every Monday evening from 7-9pm\, running through March 11\, at Kahala Korner Studio– SUITE #201\, 6414 Kilauea Ave.\, near Kahala Mall and Olive Tree Cafe. \nTo register in advance call (808) 630-4392 . Individual classes are $30\, and the cost for the course is $200–a savings of $40. All current students–both high school and college–pay only half the regular fee\, so $15 to drop-in or a mere $100 for 8 weeks! \nThe first three weeks will focus on the elements of PLAY: \n1. Imagination 2. Roles 3. Situations \nThe next three weeks will focus on the elements of ACT: \n4. Voice 5. Emotion 6. Physicality \nThe final two weeks will culminate with IMPROVISE: \n7. Say ‘yes’ & Listen 8. Free exploration \nAll classes will be led by Chris Riel\, founder and Player-in-Chief of Play4Life. \nPlay 4 Life exists to complement the acting and improv genre’s local curriculum with a school of thought that nurtures the limitless human capacity for wonder and creation. \nWith a lifetime of dedication to entertainment\, comedy\, performance\, and\, most of all\, play\, Chris Riel offers an artistic exploration of mind\, heart\, and spirit—an exciting way to “be”—with all the guidance and support you would expect from a natural teacher.
