DESCRIPTION:This course is an introduction to sketch comedy\, specifically using “the game” to write short comedic scenes. Each week students will engage in writing exercises that will explore different sketch formats. DESCRIPTION:Come and learn the world of Narrative Improv! Students will learn the basics of storytelling structures\, including following the plot\, reincorporation\, and finding an ending. They will work on creating deep characters\, detailed scene work\, and creative edits that tell a more compelling tale. This class will form a foundation for those who want to go on to longer\, multi scene story and thematic improv. She was born in the Philippines and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She co-hosts/co-produces the wildly popular show\, Filipino AF. Currently\, she can be found performing on Harold Night with Bitchin’! She is a writer for the Maude team Duchess! She also hosts a monthly improv/storytelling show in the Inner Sanctum with her indie team k3wlAZN420. Past UCB teams include the Harold teams Mondegreen and Vulture\, the Maude teams Old Flame and Thirst Trap\, and the Mess Hall team Green Light Go!
