Join us for some Musical Improv Comedy awesomeness at Studio 909 across from The Blaisdell on Kapiolani Blvd. The line up includes: SEAN CHOO’S CD RELEASE PARTY – where the audience makes up the song titles and he makes up the lyrics and our improvhi house team THOROUGHLY MODERN BIGGIE – where we make up a musical montage based off an interview with a random audience member! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTime: Show begins at 7:30pm. Doors open 20 minutes before the show begins.Parking: Parking garage entrances from Waimanu and Kapiolani (right turn only). Park in any open spot at the Musicians Union.****DO NOT PARK IN “CUSTOMER PARKING” OR UP THE RAMP****Metered street parking is also available.Food & Drink: No outside food or drink allowed. DESCRIPTION:*audience members must wear masks at all times \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s an Improv Hawaii MEGA IMPROV JAM! Now’s your chance to get up on our stage and try out some improv fun! \n\n\n\nHow the jam works:\n\n\n\nAll attendees must pay the $5 entry fee whether jamming or not. This helps us keep track of how many “jammers” we may have and also helps to keep the stage lights on. WE APPRECIATE YOU!Anyone who wants to jam must show proof of vaccination.Those who wish to jam will put their names in the Jam Bucket.No experience is required to jam. Just have fun!The host will randomly select and call up players to form groups.All groups will have 10-15 minutes of stage time depending on the number of improvisers we have.IF we run out of time and you’re not able to jam\, we will comp you for a future jam.Any scene the host deems unsafe will be immediately edited.ImprovHI reserves the right to refuse and ban any players and/or audience members.\n\n\n\nParking: Parking garage entrances from Waimanu and Kapiolani (right turn only). We know you’re craving that kind of free flowing interaction\, and that so many of you are coming up with creative\, new forms\, with nowhere to perform them. \n\n\n\nWe want to give you a chance to showcase your stuff\, or just play around and see what works. \n\n\n\nYou can join us every 2nd Friday of the month for an awesome jam session.
