DESCRIPTION:Students in this class will work together to write an original 30 minute sketch show. Students will be held to weekly deadlines in order to generate material to be featured in the show. SUMMARY:Sketch Comedy Writing 201: The Writer's Room
DESCRIPTION:Continue building on the concept of “Game” and refine your individual voice in more intimate setting. This class will function as “writers’ room” and will offer you opportunities to pitch ideas to others and collaborate with other students on assignments in class. You will also get to hone individual pieces through rewriting.  \nStudents must bring a 3-4 page sketch to the FIRST session of class. This first sketch should be written utilizing the concept of the “Game of the Scene\,” taught in Intro to Sketch Writing.
