DESCRIPTION:Love “Saturday Night Live?” How about “Kids in the Hall?” Got great ideas for a sketch\, but don’t know where to start? \nWell this class is JUST FOR YOU! \nJoin LA based writer Andy Kula (Upright Citizens Brigade\, iO West\, Drug Puppy) for SKETCH WRITING AWESOMENESS starting February 1st! \nThis class will cover the basics of sketch writing\, including structure and comedic style. Students will learn to create sketches using writing activities and lessons from TV classics like Mr. Show\, Saturday Night Live\, and Chappell’s Show. Assignments will require students to generate and develop ideas into written sketches of various forms\, and workshop activities will help them strengthen their execution and sharpen their humor.
