Nobody has said a word yet\, and somehow\, that’s everything you need. \n\n\n\nOrganic Scene Starts is a workshop dedicated to one of the most deceptively simple skills in improv: beginning a scene with nothing but your instincts and your scene partner. No game plan\, no pre-loaded character\, no safety net of a suggestion. Just presence\, awareness\, and the willingness to build something from the ground up. \n\n\n\nStudents will explore how to find inspiration in the unexpected: the way you’re standing\, the distance between two people on stage\, a sound in the room\, or a feeling you can’t quite name yet. We’ll practice trusting the small stuff\, because a slight tilt of the head or a single exhale can be the seed of an entire world. \n\n\n\nThis workshop is as much about trust as it is about technique. Trust in yourself. Trust in your scene partner. And trust that building slowly and honestly is not a weakness.
