Classes run until 9:30. \nOur Improv Skills are every Tuesday and open to everyone regardless of improv experience level.  If you’ve never improvised before\, that’s great!  Our instructors are gentle and have plenty of experience to share. \nFor questions or more information on classes: e-mail us info[at]thinkfastimprov.com or call Aaron at (808) 728-7146. \nAbout The Instructor \n \nMr Aaron has hosted over 300 events and created Hawaii’s longest running comedy open mic night\, Comedy Hospital\, every Thursday at Station Bar and Lounge.  He has performed at the Oahu Fringe Festival in 2015 and made two appearances at Improvaganza.  Aaron studied improv and sketch comedy writing with Second City’s Jeff Griggs and Jonathan Pitts and sponsored workshops led by Mike Brown of the New York City People’s Improv Theater\, Second City Hollywood performer Kyle Isao\, and Patrick Babbit of IO West.  Aaron writes and performs in Honolulu sketch comedy group\, Regards! \nAaron’s dedication to providing performers with opportunities has radically increased the size of the Hawaii comedy community over the past four years.  He is continuously launching new initiatives to raise money for his favorite charities\, St Baldricks Foundation and Child’s Play Charity\, and constantly seeks new ways to expand the performing arts community in Hawaii\, mostly through mixing different arts into one show or making pancakes. Aaron continues to teach\, host\, and perform improv at multiple venues including Station Bar and Lounge\, Ong King Art Center\, Hawaiian Brian’s\, The Studio and Hfi COOP. \nAaron is a real foodie and loves ‘P’ Foods: pancakes\, potatoes\, and probably pickles. The Wolves’ off-the-wall antics guarantee a fun night of unscripted comedy. That is your role\, your gift.” \n― Erin Morgenstern\, The Night Circus \nScripted theater takes years to write and alter to create a production. Improvised theater has no script\, there are multiple perspectives that work together without a script to tell a story that will never be told again. Only those special few who witness the story in all it’s glory. \nThis month learn to tell an unscripted story with your scene partners. She was a founding member of IYFI (In Your Face Improv) and a member of house teams both at Laughtrack Theater Company and The Greenhouse. Larissa loves to share the magic of improv and taught the Laughtrack Theater Company’s Youth & Teen Improv program twice. Larissa has studied improvised theater under Second City master level trainer Jeff Griggs and Chicago Improv Festival Executive Producer Jonathan Pitts as well as the training programs with both of Hawaii’s other improv schools. Her talent and drive garnered her an invitation as one of 8 improvisers invited to an exclusive coaching class taught by Griggs. She has appeared as a performer at Hawaii’s Improvaganza Festival for 4 years\, and coached 3 teams into the festival’s spotlight. Larissa also makes all of Think Fast’s videos! \nDrop-in Improv Classes are held every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30.

Tickets are $10 general admission. \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n“Regards!” is a collection of original comedy sketches written by members of Honolulu’s Think Fast Improv: Rory Franzen\, David K Jones (@DKJcomedy)\, Larissa Nielsen(@nielaris)\, and Ben St John(@BenjaminStJohn).  Franzen\, Jones\, and Nielsen write and produce the web series Someplace Classy and are founding members of Think Fast Improv.  Writing together since 2010\, this is the 3rd sketch comedy show the group has produced\, following last year’ sold out shows in February and August. \n\n\nSpecial Musical Guests: Dillion O’Claray and Hannah Cordill \nDoors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8pm. \nTickets are $10 at the door at Ong King Arts Center located on 184 N. It is a space for creative risk taking\, and artistic mastery.” Ong King hosts a weekly open mic for performance artists and a First Friday Variety Show every month.  It is also the site of Think Fast’s twice a month improv comedy shows.  Ong King has a bar by donation and $5 All You Can Drink Kava.  Also\, an awesome dog.
